Kendrick Lamar is now officially signed to Aftermath/Interscope records.
According to Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, Kendrick’s parent label, Top Dawg Entertainment, has joined forces with Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.
As a result of the new union, Kendrick’s untitled album will be jointly released through Top Dawg Aftermath and Interscope while any future releases from his group, Black Hippy, will only be distributed through Top Dawg and Interscope.
The 24-year-old rapper will be performing at SXSW taking place next week. He, along with fellow XXL Freshman, Future, Danny Brown and Hopsin, will take on Austin, TX, before embarking on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. -- Jazmine Gray
