Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant let his goodwill take center stage when he deposited a million dollars towards the Oklahoma tornado relief.
"@KDTrey5 steps forward and gives $1mil matching gift to the ARC for disaster relief, text "REDCROSS" to 90999 for a $10 donation," the Red Cross' official Twitter account announced.
The deadly tornado, which struck Moore the hardest, took the lives of at least 91 people, including 20 children. President Barack Obama declared the event a federal disaster late Monday night.
The OKC small forward reportedly banked $17 million this year. He took to his social media account to send his well wishes, "Praying for the victims of the Tornadoes in OKC these last few days..Everybody stay safe!"
