This fall’s looking up for the Kid Cudi. The rapper, who released Indicud earlier this year and is set to hit the road for The Cud Life tour alongside Big Sean, Tyler The Creator, and Logic, will flex his acting chops again on the small screen in Fox's new upcoming Brooklyn Nine-Nine comedy series.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the “Up, Up and Away” spitter has nabbed a guest role on the new comedy show from Mike Schur and Dan Goor, the creators of Parks and Recreation.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine will focus on a diverse group of detectives at a New York precinct where Cudi plays Dustin Whitman, an ex-con that Jake (played by Andy Samberg) believes robbed a jewelry store. He's slated to appear in the third episode of the season. No stranger to the small screen, Cudi's TV credits include How to Make It in America and The Cleveland Show.
