Movies & TV

/ February 27, 2013

Don’t worry if you’re not well versed in all the Oscars Award winning films — you can catch a re-enactment of “Kids Oscars” after the break.

Haven’t had a chance to see Beasts of the Southern Wild, Argo or Django Unchained? Luckily for us, these films plus other Oscar nominated flicks have been re-imagined, starring young children.

The video also features adapted scenes from the aforementioned films including the Daniel Day-Lewis starring Lincoln. The kiddie versions actually do a decent job of summarizing what a lot of people are saying about the pictures. Jared Neumark of Landline TV created and directed the viral video through his New York-based comedy video-production company.

With more than 130,000 views so far, the video continues to gain steam and popularity, even after the ceremony’s conclusion. Many comments believe that this spot was “adorable and cute,” we second that. These kids are solid gold. Press play and enjoy them for yourselves!
