After two thrilling days of performances, DJ sets and on-stage interviews under the Toyota x Soundwave Lollapalooza tent, Dungeon Family descendant and one half of rebel rap duo Run The Jewels, Killer Mike stopped by Sunday afternoon to elevate an already great weekend with high octane music and thought-provoking conversation.
Warming up for he and his Run, The Jewels partner El-P's official Lolla set later that day, Mike hit our stage with raucous material from his solo catalogue. After whipping the crowd into a frenzy with rock-infused hooks, intricate wordplay and call-and-response interaction, the OutKast cousin was gracious enough to sit down with our Editorial Consultant Bonsu Thompson and discuss how he's continued to be a model of artistic elevation throughout his career. Jewels were definitely dropped.
