Kanye West's baby momma is known to make a big bang on the Internets, whether it's posting bikini Instagram flicks or the tape-that-shall-not-be-named.
On Thursday, Kim pulled the trigger on a Twitpic of a diamond-encrusted handgun. Needless to say, the reality star sparked outrage among her 17.3 million followers given her recent pledge signing to stop gun violence after the Sandy Hook shootings.
While gun control remains a hot button for debate across the nation, Kim isn't the first celeb to take to social media about gun-related issues. Actor/ funny man Jim Carrey came under fire when he sent this message on Twitter, "Anyone who would run out to buy an assault rifle after the Newtown massacre has very little left in their body or soul worth protecting."
A source close to Yeezy's favorite Kardashian tells E! News the whole thing was "a mistake."
"Kim hates guns and immediately took it down," the source said.
In January, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" starlet urged her followers to sign the Sandy Hook pledge with her. "Today, people in Newtown are making the #sandyhookpromise to reduce gun violence," she tweeted. "Sign the pledge with me at at sandyhookpromise.org,"
