Kobe Bryant And Wife Vanessa Are Back Together?

Wow - this one is a shocker. Lakers star Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa filed split in December 2011, but now it seems the two are dropping their divorce proceedings and reconciling.

Vanessa took to Instagram to announce the news, which definitely comes as a surprise. With other baller couples allegedly on the outs - including La La Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony - to see these two kiss and make up is definitely a change of pace.

Kobe and Vanessa have been married since 2001, and she famously stood by after Kobe was charged with sexually assaulting a woman in Colorado. But she seemed to have hit a limit more than a year ago, although the two have been spotted together since.

Hopefully, the news does as much for Kobe's marriage as it does for his team - his Lakers have been on a slide all season, although Bryant is leading the league in scoring.
