The new-look Lakers are off to a rough start, but Kobe Bryant didn't mince words when it came to critics.
"I'll say it for [Coach Mike Brown]: Everybody, shut up," said Bryant.
The Lakers, top favorites to win the Finals this year, have started the season 0-2, and coach Mike Brown has faced the brunt of the criticism. But Bryant defended his coach and the complex offensive system they are running.
"I just I don't understand," Bryant said. "The city here, for me, not trying to bite my tongue and not calling them dumb, which I kind of just did, but they've seen us win multiple championships here playing in an offense that was tough to learn."
With new point guard Steve Nash sidelined with an injury, Bryant will have to pick up the slack to prevent the Lakers from falling in an even deeper hole. But don't count out the former MVP yet - the season is still young.
