Kris Humphries Will Miss NBA Playoffs for Divorce Court

The ongoing divorce battle between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian just received a court date. The date is set for May 6, just two months before Kardashian is expected to give birth to her current beau, Kanye West's baby. Unfortunately, the NBA playoffs will take place between April 20 through June 20 and Humphries' team the Brooklyn Nets are currently in playoff contention.

The trial is expected to last up to five days, meaning Humphries could possibly miss a few playoff games. Kris and his legal team have tried to push the court date back but have reportedly been denied their appeal. Kardashian has wanted to settle the divorce in court since their October 2011 breakup and even filed for emergency divorce earlier this month, citing her pregnancy as the cause for a speedy dissolution.
