Lady Gaga Cancels Tour, Needs Hip Surgery

Last Monday night, Lady Gaga found herself unable to walk after suffering from a joint inflammation condition known as synovitis. After hiding her ailment from fans and her staff for some time, the "Bad Romance" singer has been ordered to cancel her remaining Born This Way tour dates.

The outing, once expected to resume February 19, has now been squashed altogether, as Gaga preps for hip surgery to mend her injury.

Lady Gaga was issued to a wheelchair while she recovers. Making light of her situation, the pop star tweeted "this is Emma," alongside a picture of her new walking aid.
