Next month, New York City's historic Roseland Ballroom is closing its doors for good but the venue is going out with a bang as Lady Gaga will be performing a sold-out, four-night residency from March 28 to April 2.
The promo poster (above) shows Mother Monster pre-fame (sorta as Monsters swear the photo was released right after "Just Dance") in black and white. Six years ago, a photographer prompted her to take a photo and then asked her who she was, she said, "I'm Lady Gaga. A singer/songwriter. You're going to know me one day." The photo is a representation of her come-up as a New York artist and the venue's history.
Roseland Ballroom first opened in New York in 1919 and has been operating at its current location on West 52nd street since 1958.
