LaLa Vazquez-Anthony has no plans of being your typical reality star who’s only known for the show they brought the drama on.
The former MTV VJ will be the newest addition to the Broadway play Love, Loss, And What I Wore.
Bossip reports that producers of the show announced yesterday that LaLa will be joining the ensemble. The play, which opened back in 2009 at the Westside Theater, is based on a book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. The stage version, written by Nora and Delia Ephron takes on the books concept of telling women’s stories of love and loss by building those stories around their clothing and accessories.
Girlfriends star Tracee Ellis Ross, Stacy London of What Not To Wear fame, and The Nanny’s Fran Drescher are just a few of the cast members that LaLa is set to join. Given this is LaLa's first Broadway play, there's no telling on whether she'll sink or swim. But nonetheless, you're making all the right moves Mrs. Anthony! —Keenan Higgins
