Lamar Odom Traded To L.A. Clippers

Lamar Odom is headed to the Los Angeles Clippers. And Khloe Kardashian-Odom must be ecstatic.
The Dallas Mavericks traded Odom to the Clippers in a four-team trade that also sent guard Mo Williams to the Utah Jazz. The Clippers were in need of a big man to complement Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
"I'm looking at this like it's a good fit to be going back to the Clippers," said Odom, who played with the team earlier in his career. "I think that the Clippers have some very good pieces. I like the way Chris [Paul] and Blake compete. I think basketball-wise, it'll be pretty easy for me to play with this team."
After being traded to the Mavs in December, the 32-year-old ex-Laker experienced one of his worst NBA seasons.
"I know all the questions will be about Dallas and will I be a good fit with the Clippers," said Odom. "But [last season] was hard for me after all I went through off the court last summer — the death of my cousin, the death of someone from a car accident I was involved in. For me, it was one too many things to deal with."
Odom will make $8.2 million for the 2012-13 season.
