Lamborghini In Support of Kanye West's 'Mercy'

While some brands have been known to respond negatively toward mentions in hip-hop music, Lamborghini is appreciative of Kanye West's "Mercy."

The track, which references their Lamborghini Murcielago with the lyrics "Lamborghini mercy / Your chick, she's so thirsty," is seen as a positive by the company.

“We appreciate the publicity,”a Lamborghini spokesperson told Complex. “But more importantly, we hope Kanye has the opportunity to fully experience the exhilarating performance and technical innovations found in all Lamborghinis.”

“Most owners tell us they’ve had a lifelong love affair with the brand before they actually purchased their Lamborghini,” they continued. “This is another example of the use of a Lamborghini in various art forms. Communicating success, individuality and creativity are hallmarks of the brand.”
