There are quite a few new webshows out there (Issa Rae's Awkward Black Girl being one of the current internet faves right now), yet the men behind the newest funny short form show, Brett And The City, have a sure fire winner on their hands. Based in the gritty New York City streets, friends and producers of the web-comedy Darren Mallett (Co-Creator/Executive Producer/Director), Ben Logan (Executive Producer/Asst. Director, and star of the show, Brett Sanders (Creator/Executive Producer/Writer), have blended a unique storyline (Brett is a copy machine salesman), weird sexual exploits and "I wish I handled that differently" scenarios with great timing and improv'd dialogue. Get with the program and view the episodes below.
Here's what the producers say about their new project:
"The Brett and the City Web Series is directly based on the hit comedy blog by the same name. The blog originally started out two years ago as a series of hilarious and extremely outrageous short literary stories pulled directly from the life of comedy writer Brett Sanders. However after literally thousands of comments and requests from readers all around the world saying how much they would just LOVE to one day see the crazy scenarios acted out in real life. Brett along with Darren and Ben finally decided to take the most popular stories from the literary blog, and turn them into full fledged webisodes."
