The Fishburne name is back in the news for what it originally stood for: great acting talent in PG and R rated roles.
Just in time for Black History Month, Laurence Fishburne will be taking his one-man show, Thurgood based on the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall to the small screen. The 90-minute performance will air on HBO on February 24th at 9pm. It was filmed in front a live studio audience in Washington D.C. last summer. The actor most recently known for being Montana Fishburne’s dad also wrote the play, Thurgood and was nominated for a Tony award for his performance.
