Lauryn Hill is back in action after being released from prison in October. While she still has three months of house arrest and nine months of supervised release to serve out, she’ll be going on a small tour at the end of the year, meaning her house arrest has officially been postponed and her parole officer has approved the touring itinerary.
After announcing she’d be doing a doubleheader at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on November 27 earlier this week, the singer has unveiled five more dates comprising “Homecoming, a string of intimate shows for her fans, in and around New York City.” According to the press release, “Ms. Hill finds herself in a place where she can once again live and breathe the art that has brought her to the forefront of our psyches, and has earned her place as being one of the most prolific and thought provoking artists of our time.”
