VH1 is taking back its words and calling the recent TLC biopic, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, nothing more than a "fictionalized portrayal." The "fictionalized portrayal" aired last month on the network and quickly had the Twitter-verse abuzz. VH1's retraction comes after former TLC manager Perri "Pebbles" Reid, who was negatively portrayed as a money-cheating executive in the made-for-tv drama, hit The Wendy Williams Show to defended herself.
Asked if she stole TLC's money as the film suggests, Pebbles tells Williams, "Hell no!" She promises to defend her "reputation, accomplishments and character." Pebbles also said "all options are open" when it comes to taking VH1 to court. With VH1 changing their stance this week, it looks like a lawsuit is almost inevitable.
