Leona Lewis To Perform Avatar Theme on SYTYCD Finale

After being handpicked by director James Cameron to record a song for his new blockbuster Avatar, Leona Lewis will now get to perform it on the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance.

The U.K. singer is set to sing "I See You" during the live broadcast tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. Produced by James Horner and Simon Franglen (Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On"), the song plays in the closing credits of Avatar -- which hits theaters this Friday (Dec. 18) -- and appears on the movie's soundtrack.

The song earned a Golden Globe nomination earlier this week for best original song in a motion picture. --Clover Hope
