Letter From The Editor: Kandi Burruss

What’s up Vibe family? It’s me, Kandi Burruss, and I’m taking over as a Guest Editor for VIBE.com for one day (unless y’all demand my return, in which case I’ll be back to take the reigns again)!

I have been following VIBE since its conception, so getting to be a part of the team behind the scenes is a real treat. I am so grateful to have graced the cover of VIBE’s Sexy Issue with Evelyn Lozada, Tamar Braxton, and Chrissy Lampkin. That cover line about us being everyone’s new role models got some of us girls in trouble (LOL)! But I like to think that being a mother, Grammy award-winning singer/writer and successful entrepreneur is pretty darn cool, and I am very proud of my accomplishments.

That’s the public side of me, but as Guest Editor, I am sharing the personal side as well. I’ll be sharing pics of my family and friends from my personal archives, as well as letting you all know where the hottest spots are in Atlanta (there’s a ton of places to choose from). Also check out my answers to some questions about sex and relationships!

Thanks to the Vibe team for hooking this up and to everyone out there that has followed and supported me. Y’all have helped me become the woman I am today.
