Lil Boosie's Defense Rests With No Witnesses

Though they did not call any witnesses, the defense in Torrence “Lil Boosie” Hatch's first degree murder trial rested their case yesterday.

After calling 27 witnesses in the trial for the murder of Terry Boyd, the prosecution rested their case, followed by the defense announcing that they too were resting their case without calling a single witness to the stand.

“Based upon the burden of proof lying with the state, the defense rests with the witnesses the state has put on,” said Jason Williams, Boosie's lawyer after only four days.

Closing arguments from both sides will be given today.
