Maybe Lil Wayne IS the hardest working man in hip-hop. Even on Labor Day, a national holiday known as being the last day off to enjoy summer, Lil Tunechi is hard at work. He dropped his long-awaited "Dedication 4" mixtape today with little warning.
"D4 Dropping at 4pm! Thk u all for the luv!!!!!!!!!!!," Lil Wayne tweeted only an hour before the mixtape surfaced online.
The skater-friendly fourth installment in his DJ Drama-hosted "Dedication" mixtape series features guest spots from Nicki Minaj, J.Cole, Young Jeezy, Birdman, Flo and more. Jae Millz and Gudda Gudda, both heavily featured on Dedication 3 return on the 15-track LP, however, overall, it has less features than its predecessor.
Since Dedication 3 dropped in 2008, Lil Tunechi has released four full-length studio albums and five other mixtapes. (He also spent eight months in the slammer.) While "Dedication 2" is cited as the most popular in the series, here's to hoping Weezy uses less auto-tune and pulls out some new tricks on No. 4.
