Lil Wayne has always been a man about his business, but when it comes to music, the Young Moolah leader says he took his time making the second installment to his I Am Not A Human Being album.
"The difference between [this] album and the last I Am Not a Human Being would be the music wasn't rushed," Wayne told MTV News, also revealing that the album was finished.
"Last time the music was rushed because I had to take that eight-month vacation on that island so we had rushed the music, but this time we didn't rush the music."
By island, Weezy referred to his eight-month stint in Riker's after pleading guilty to felony gun charges. Since his release, he has churned out hit after hit, including "Right Above It" with his Young Money mate Drake. The single off the 'Human Being' sequel will be "My Homies Still" featuring Big Sean. This time around, Tunechi hopes his careful recording pays off.
"I paid attention to everything I did," he said. "You're getting the quality of all my albums: Tha Carter IV, Tha Carter III, the same with this I Am Not A Human Being II. Hope you like it."
