Listen: Pusha T And Kendrick Lamar Break Bad On ‘Nosetalgia’

The morning after Pusha T’s eventful My Name Is My Name listening session,/a>, some of VIBE’s editors in attendance came back to home base, not only detailing Kanye West’s DONDA rant but singing high praises to the track featuring Kendrick Lamar. “Kendrick Lamar’s best verse of the year” was the phrase thrown around to be exact. Now, it’s bombs away on the Pusha Ton and KDot collaboration courtesy of Funk Flex.

On ‘Nosetalgia,” the two lyricists make like Breaking Bad’s meth-cooking tag team Walter White and Jesse Pinkman and reminisce on their past side-hustles with dope bars (literally). Push recently gave more insight into the drug-dealing concept in an interview with HipHopDX. “We gave two perspectives [on the song]. [Kendrick Lamar] was giving more, looking from the inside of his home and how his family and his crusade through the drug epidemic affected him,’ the G.O.O.D. Music MC said. “I was giving you the junior high, high school start, showing you what it was and where I was at.”
