Lupe Fiasco Breaks Down in Tears Over Slain Friends

As Lupe Fiasco continues his promotional trek for his upcoming album Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap album, the Chicago emcee dropped by MTV’s Rap Fix Live yesterday for what was a very emotional episode. During the show, the pair took a look back at Lupe’s 2006 My Block special, which brought back memories that moved the “Around My Way”-maestro to tears. “It’s some of them dudes is dead,” he told Sway. “Chicago’s the murder capital. The dudes in that video are in prison, a couple of fed cases, and then there’s ghosts. You see people that, that ain’t there.” Check out a clip from the episode below.
