Sorry Kevin Durant, but Lupita Nyong'o is 2014's MVP. Known to turn heads on any stage, Nyong'o explained that her "red carpet" self is "just one aspect of me; it doesn’t represent the entirety of me, which I am at peace with."
The Kenyan beauty also revealed that she is still very much adjusting to her a status as a celebrity."It just feels like the entertainment industry exploded into my life," said Nyong'o, who spent years working on smaller projects and earning her master's degree from the Yale School of Drama. "People who seemed so distant all of a sudden were right in front of me and recognizing me -- before I recognized them!"
