After shaking heads by tossing the N-word into an Instagram post and issuing a side-eye worthy apology, Madonna and her son David hit the red carpet for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (Jan. 26). The 55-year-old pop icon made headlines once more when she flaunted her grills, revealing that she wears the mouthpiece to get the people going.
“Yeah, I’m grillin’. It pisses everybody off when I wear my grill, so that’s why I wear it," the "Material Girl" singer said during her interview with Ryan Seacrest.
The mother-son duo wore matching Ralph Lauren tuxedos, but for David, there were no bedazzled teeth jewels included in his ensemble.
“She said she’d get me grills for this birthday,” the 8-year-old candidly said, but Madge countered his plea by stating they've had no time to go to the dentist to get a mold.
She later hit the stage that night to perform during four-time Grammy winners Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Same Love" track, where Queen Latifah also presided over 34 marriages. Check out the performance here.
