Madonna Comes Under Fire After Swastika Controversy

Pop icon Madonna might be in a bit of trouble after her recent stunt during a Paris show on Saturday.

According to a report by ABC News, right-wing French party leader Marine Le Pen is looking to potentially sue Madge for briefly showing a picture of her with the Nazi swastika on her forehead, during a slideshow—featured as part of her live tour in support of her latest album MDNA—depicting famous faces morphing into the next.

The slideshow has been shown at recent past shows, although reports say Madonna's been warned about the video already, especially asked not to show it in France to avoid legal action.

The Hollywood Reporter's Shirley Halperin says, “The montage that has gotten her in this heap of trouble is one of many, many provocative images that she has. It’s kind of shining a harsh light on what she sees as the injustices of the world.”

It appears that Madonna hasn't responded to the controversy, and given her track record, we doubt she gives a damn.
