There has been another report of a potential threat targeting innocent children.
Following Friday's heinous shooting at a Connecticut school, a northern Indiana man who allegedly threatened to “kill as many people as he could” at an elementary school near his home was arrested by local police officers. Authorities recovered 47 guns and ammunition from his home.
Cops apprehended Von. I. Meyer, 60, of Cedar Lake, on Saturday when officers were dispatched to Meyer’s home after he allegedly threatened to set his wife on fire once she fell asleep, a police statement said. Currently, he's being held at Lake County Jail on Felony intimidation, domestic battery and resisting law enforcement charges.
According to a report by The AP, Meyer also threatened to enter nearby Jane Ball Elementary School “and kill as many people as he could before police could stop him."
The Indiana Police department also said Meyer “is a known member of the Invaders Motorcycle Gang.”
