Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson are going to have an awkward week at work.
Mariah Carey is no longer being managed by fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson, due to "hectic" schedules. Jackson has managed Carey since 2011, and brokered her mega deal to join Idol as a judge.
It's been a tumultuous year already for Carey, who has clashed with fellow judge Nicki Minaj repeatedly and was allegedly almost replaced by Jennifer Lopez on the show in midseason. Jackson and Carey are longtime associates, and Jackson has worked with Carey on several of her albums over the last two decades.
