Marlon Wayans To Spoof "Paranormal Activity" In "A Haunted House"

"Paranormal Activity 4" may have been a stinker to hardcore horror fans, but Marlon Wayans hopes to bring a smile to your face with his latest spoof picture.

Wayans, who helped to bring the spoof craze to the masses with "Dance Flick" and the first two "Scary Movie" films, will star in the upcoming comedy, about a couple who find themselves being terrorized by an unseen, ghostly presence. Co-starring alongside the former "In Living Color" funny man will be Essence Atkins, Nick Swardson, Cedric the Entertainer and David Koechner.

The first trailer, which you can see for yourself below, features a collection of images that poke fun at the iconic scenes from horror movies such as "The Devil Inside" and the aforementioned "Paranormal Activity" franchise.

"A Haunted House" will arrive in theaters on January 11, 2013.
