Pastor Mason Betha almost let the devil in. During a radio interview on Detroit's 107.5 radio station, Ma$e was asked about new artists he co-signed and name-dropped J. Cole before revealing that he once wanted to put his hands on the Born Sinner MC.
"I like J. Cole too when he's not taking shots at me. I saw him one day, I was going to hit him but I was too grown to be knocking light-skinned people out," he said jokingly. "But I really like him as an artist."
The "Why Can't We" rapper hinted that Jermaine Cole said something about him on a record that he didn't like but didn't react when he saw him. "That's a different generation. See in our generation, you say something on a record [and when] we see you it's action. When I saw him I was like, 'Oh he a kid, he don't get it,'" he laughed.
The Harlem rep and J. Cole were recently part of Drake's OVO Fest last August. Later that month, Cole was reportedly in a scrap with Diddy, one of Ma$e's longtime collaborators.

While his upcoming album Now We Even has no release date as of yet, you can still heed the word of Ma$e above.
