Mase has been hitting the studio to record his upcoming fourth album Now We Even. Looks as though the Harlem rapper has enlisted Timbaland to produce one of new tracks. Taking to Instagram for a quick preview, Mase shared a video bopping his head to a signature Timbo beat on which he can be heard laying down a few laid-back bars.

Not many details have surfaced regarding the Now We Even album, but it sounds as though Mase may be mixing his signature feel-good sound with a few updates like a bounce from Timbo. The rapper released an R&B-laced track “Why Can’t We” back in December, as well as shared a wish-list of artists he’d like to collaborate with, including Lauryn Hill, 2 Chainz, Seal, CeeLo Green, Meek Mill, Beyoncé, Fabolous, Dipset, and Ariana Grande.

Should be interesting to see who else Mase links up with for his return.
