According to this Maxwell-autographed holiday card, the singer is dropping a new album, blackSUMMERS'night, in 2011. The project is the second installment of the soul crooner's in-the-works trilogy; the first, titled BLACKsummers'night, was released in 2009, yielding the dulcet and delicate breakup track, "Pretty Wings." No word on when the concluding LP—blacksummers'NIGHT—will be released, we're just geeked about this next Maxwell project. Happy New Year, indeed. —John Kennedy
