New York’s own Mayor Bloomberg addressed the countless rumors regarding Beyonce’s stay at Lenox Hill Hospital, where she gave birth to her and Jay-Z's first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
The hospital denied media reports that Beyonce and Jay paid over $1 million to lock down an entire floor in the hospital. One couple said security and bodyguards gave then a hard time.
Though Bloomberg claimed to not know what happened, he disagreed with the idea of the hospital stopping parents from seeing their babies. He also defended the hospital, however, stating “If they got paid a lot of money, and it let them provide services to other people who don’t have insurance or can’t afford it, I’m not so sure it’s a bad thing.”
"Full-paying patients are very valuable to hospitals in this day and age,” he continued.
But it seems Bloomberg wasn’t the only one with something to say about The Carters and their newborn. Signs in front of Beulah Baptist church in West End, NC , suggested that the nearly week-old infant is actually the devil. The church’s pastor, who says his team was not responsible for the hateful messages, discovered the vandalism which read “Beyonce had her baby. Satan is on Earth.”
