Fighting piracy on the Internet is no easy task, but the government is starting to crack down. Megaupload.com is the latest site to bite the dust and surprisingly, Swizz Beatz is listed as its CEO.
Federal prosecuters pulled the plug on the site yesterday, because of illegal downloads. According to a lawyer, "[Swizz Beatz] was in conversations to be named CEO, his involvement in the company was highly attenuated. There were discussions and he was involved in a promotional video and in brainstorming future projects, but not much else."
Looks like any chance of him being the official CEO are long gone now.
