Melanie Fiona hosted her sophomore album, The MF Life, listening event at Electric Lady Studios in NYC. Spreading love by stamping purple hearts on attendees as they sipped cocktails (aptly named “heartbreakers”), the two time Grammy winner worked the room in a red and black dress and black boots. The album played over the chatter of the room, and standout tracks–”Running” (featuring Nas), “This Time” (featuring J. Cole), “I Been That Girl” (written by Drake)–made listeners take notice.
Guests included labelmate Bridget Kelly, record label execs, bloggers, journalists and a host of Melanie’s friends.
The MF Life hits stores on March 20.
