Metta World Peace Clowns Lamar Odom for Leaving the Dallas Mavericks

Metta World Peace Clowns Lamar Odom for Leaving the Dallas Mavericks

Posted April 11, 2012

News of Lamar Odom's split from the Dallas Mavericks broke on Monday (April 9)

and former teammate and childhood friend Metta World Peace, previously known as Ron Artest, had a few jokes to crack about the situation.

ESPN reports after the Lakers vs. Hornets game World Peace remarked with a grin, "Maybe he can come back and be a ball boy and then next year, come play. That's what he should do. He'd be the first ball boy in the NBA that can play. Come back; get the towels and next year, play. Why not? He should be a scout. Lamar should be a scout."

World Peace went on a rant and continued to say that although he hasn't spoken to him recently, "Lamar should just like for one month, just be a Boy Scout and wear the outfit," he took it a step further saying "Just have fun. You're getting paid." Although he has a point, it may have been best if he stopped while he was at it.

He finished off his rant saying that Odom should hike a mountain like Dirk Nowitzki. "What's the biggest mountain in the world?" World Peace blurted out. "(Odom) should hike it. He should go hike it. Do something that's never been done."

Looks like World Peace isn't always so peaceful with his mouth.
