M.I.A. is back on the tips of tongues with the release of a fresh new album Matangi and her Versus Versace collection. As she continues to battle her $1.5 million lawsuit from the NFL for flipping the birdie during the 2012 Super Bowl, the "Paper Planes" songstress gives the creative middle finger to convention.
"The concept to the album is that it is what it is. Still, it's that "limitless" feeling that has secured her a cult of loyal followers, no matter what controversies come her way.
Watch her full sit-down where she discusses Versace bootleg being better than the original, the NFL suit, her recent separation from her fiancee, the meaning of Matangi and how she will credit a peak in the population during the next 20 years to The Weeknd above.
