M.I.A. Leaves Roc Nation Management
M.I.A. has decided to depart from Jay Z’s Roc Nation management company since signing in 2012, which she revealed in a tweet posted Tuesday (Dec. 31). The “Y.A.L.A.” artist dropped her fourth studio album, Matangi, on Nov. 1 to rave reviews. “2013 i dlted old tweet to bring u this. im leaving @RocNation,” M.I.A. tweeted to her half a million followers. “Thank to everyone who supported the M.I.A #MATANGI LP. HAPPY NEW YEAR | 2014,” The Sri-Lankan native parts ways with the powerhouse entity that inked management deals with Rihanna, Meek Mill, Wale, and Shakira. Read her tweet below.
