M.I.A. has never been one to hold her tongue over some controversy. The eclectic Sri Lankan artist is the target of the National Football League's $1.5 million lawsuit for flashing a middle finger during her performance with Madonna at Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. Flipping the birdie allegedly breached her contract and tarnished it's goodwill and reputation. She's calling BS to all of the above and has no plans of backing down.
