Michael Jackson To Be Honored By Brothers on Jackson Tour

Michael Jackson To Be Honored By Brothers on Jackson Tour

Adelle Platon Posted June 25, 2012

Though the music world lost its King of Pop Michael Jackson three years ago today, his brothers will be commemorating his life through song in a special concert series this week

Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marion Jackson will return to the stage as The Jacksons. Jermaine said the tour has been on the brothers' to-do list for years, but after Michael's passing, they needed time to heal. The tour kicks off in Detroit at the Fox Theatre and will make a stop at the Apollo Theatre in New York later this week.

MJ passed away on June 25, 2009 after suffering a respiratory arrest caused by acute propofol intoxication. Though the doctor who prescribed the meds to MJ has served seven months behind bars, Conrad Murray told E! News that he continues to maintain his innocence.

Reviving the days of the Jackson 5, Jermaine says the brothers will be performing a medley of Michael's hits that will conclude with the song "Gone Too Soon."
