Katherine Jackson is no longer missing and is resting in Arizona, authorities say.
One day after her nephew filed a missing person's report, Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed Sunday that the guardian of Michael Jackson's three children was found safe with a family member.
According to ABC News, Jermaine Jackson released a statement saying that his mother was with her daughter, Rebbie, in Arizona “resting up on doctor’s advice.”
“Furthermore, it dismays me that such an alarmist ‘missing person’ report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michael’s children who will understandably react to what they misunderstand, hear or are told,” Jackson said in the statement.
Jackson was probably referring to Paris, who stirred alarm on Twitter by saying, "Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven’t spoken with her in a week I want her home now." Katherine, 82, reportedly left her home in Calabasas, Calif., July 15 to fly to Albuquerque to watch her four sons in concert before heading to Arizona.
Consider it one of many problems in the Jackson clan resolved. The family's members are reportedly still in dispute over Michael's will.
