First Lady Michelle Obama will gather upcoming and legendary R&B singers to perform at her "Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House" concert on Thursday (Mar. 6), Billboard reports.
Songstresses like Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Ariana Grande, The Voice winner Tessanne Chin, Janelle Monáe and Melissa Etheridge are set to grace the stage.
The concert will stream live via the White House's website but will also air on PBS April 7. The event is being held to celebrate the great 'foremothers' of American music with songs exploring the struggles and achievements of women.
In association with the concert, the White House will host a workshop for youngsters to educate them about the women of soul.
