Miguel is a rebel rock star in his own right. Not only did the "Adorn" singer defy gravity in his Wrestlemania worthy performance at the Billboard Music Awards, he also disregarded producers' order not to take the leap of faith.
According to TMZ, the 27-year-old allegedly asked the staff if he could attempt the jump before taking the stage but was told not to because producers thought it was too dangerous. Miguel still pulled the stunt (unsuccessfully) and landed on a female fan, slamming her head into the stage.
Now the victim is crying possible "brain damage" and may take things up in the court of law.
Still, the potential lawsuit doesn't seem to phase the Grammy winner. "I don’t think [a lawsuit is] on his mind. I think right now he’s just hoping the girl will be fine and not have any serious damage to her head," a source tells HollywoodLife.com.
The insider adds, “I know if he had to go back in time he wouldn’t have tried to pull that off. But it’s in the past now, nothing he can do.“
