Almost 16 years after boxing legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield were caught in an ear-biting brawl, the two came face-to-face once again, but this time, entangled in a tight embrace.
The former opponents crossed paths at the Jewel-Osco supermarket in Chicago Saturday night (Feb. 16) where Holyfield was promoting his BBQ sauce and Tyson was performing his one-man show. The "Hangover" star decided to swing by the event to support his ex-rival, AP reports.
“I just wanted to see Evander, man,” Tyson said. “I love Evander. I'm forever linked with him for the rest of my life.”
The bromantic feelings were mutual as Holyfield also swung by Tyson's show in Vegas ear, where the tatted boxer delves into all aspects of his life including his divorce, drug use, rape convictions and the brutal bout between the two.
This isn't the first time the BBQ sauce creator used Tyson for free promo. On the anniversary of the infamous fight last year, Holyfield showed no love lost as he tweeting that hot sauce "will make u wanna take a bite out of someone’s ear! Ask @MikeTyson – Luv ya bro!"
