Miley Cyrus kicked off the MTV EMAs with a performance of her Bangerz cut "We Can't Stop." While the EMAs are considered Europe's equivalent to America's VMAs, Cyrus' overseas performance was tamer than her heard-around-the-world antics from the 2013 VMAs earlier this year. For her EMA performance, Cyrus descended from above in a space gown accompanied by a little partner and made her way to a motley group of dancing hooligans before handing things over to the night's host, LMFAO's Red Foo.
The EMAs took place in Amsterdam on Sunday (Nov. 10). While she was up for several awards, Cyrus lost to Katy Perry in the Best Female category. She was also up for Best Pop Artist and Best Video. Robin Thicke also performed at the EMAs, but kept his distance from Cyrus, who returned later in the night to perform "Wrecking Ball" in a white leotard.
