Tyler K. McDermott Posted June 21, 2012

Do you remember Monifah, Uptown Records’ first lady of the mid-90s? Well, the smooth singer is back and recently revealed the reason behind her long hiatus.

In an exclusive interview with Just the Fab in New York, Monifah spoke on the cocaine addiction she suffered through for seven years. She also opened up about her friend, the late Heavy-D, and on a lighter note, discussed her new reality show, R&B Divas, with Faith Evans, KeKe Wyatt, and Syleena Johnson.
