Mos Def Lands Role On 'Dexter' Season 6

Mos Def is about to flex his acting chops again. The rapper/actor has finalized a multi-episode deal for the sixth season of Dexter, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The raptor will play a hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion but still can't seem to escape violence. Dexter (played by Michael C. Hall) will reveal the truth about who he really is. Production on the Showtime thriller is set to begin in June and will probably begin airing in the fall.

Mos Def is one of several guests who will appear on the show this coming season.
