As Life is Good nears its release date, Nas caught up with Rap-Up before his performance at this year’s ESPY Awards to discuss his collaboration with the late-Amy Winehouse on their track, “Cherry Wine.”
“Amy was just one of a kind,” he said about the singer who also doubled as his friend.
The famed blog also inquired about Nas’ thoughts on the recent Frank Ocean situation, to which he replied:
“People are getting a lot of things twisted. Everybody’s getting excited about records for the wrong reason.”
